Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Analyse geschlechtlicher Diversität in der medizinischen
Versorgung unter besonderer Berücksichtigung gesellschaftlich implementierter Geschlechternormen.
Im Fokus stehen die Krankheitsbilder Endometriose und ADHS, bei denen geschlechtsspezifische
Unterschiede in der Symptomatik und Diagnostik signifikante Auswirkungen auf die Versorgungsqualität
haben. Die Arbeit thematisiert darüber hinaus die gesundheitliche Versorgung von trans*
Personen und identifiziert dabei zentrale Herausforderungen wie Diskriminierung, rechtliche
Barrieren und mangelnde Forschungsinklusion.

The aim of this research work is to analyze gender diversity in medical health care,
with particular consideration of socially implemented gender norms. The focus is on
the diseases endometriosis and ADHD, where sex-specific differences in symptoms and
diagnostics have significant effects on the quality of care. This research work also
discusses the health care of trans* individuals, identifying major challenges such
as discrimination, legal barriers and lack of research inclusion.
