Abstract: This work shows the applicability of three biochip types with integrated microelectrodes. To differentiate thermal and athermal effects, action potentials (AP) of dielectrophoretically positioned neuronal networks were detected under HF-EMF exposition on the Si-neurochip. AP of nerves and cardiomyocytes were detected with the modular glass chip system MOGS. With the PoreGenic® Patch Clamp system, cardiac AP and transmembrane potentials of fibroblasts were detected; on-chip polymers for cell structuring were examined as well as FIB SEM images used to describe the cell-electrode interaction.
