Abstract: In this dissertation, the results of the investigations on the reactivity of the known singlet biradical [P(µ-NTer)]2 are presented and explained. The reactivity towards dienes and diynes, diazomethanes and bromoalkanes was investigated. Also, first reactions were carried out with a Brønsted acid, which has a weakly coordinating anion. The resulting novel compounds were characterized by analytical methods such as NMR, IR and Raman spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and single crystal X-ray structural analysis.
